Medical services

Many thousands of hours of operation per year emergency health services are provided at great event such as open-air concerts or football games by emergency medical technicians (EMT).

Again, it depends mainly on practical professional training and education and regular practise of the staff to respond quickly in an emergency and act professionally.

In the past, several joint medical service operations of Samaritan organizations took place, most recently in 2012 when paramedic staff of the White Cross South Tyrol supported the ASB Cologne during the Cologne Marathon.

Medical services are performed in many cases by volunteers in their spare time.

Current information on the individual services of the SAM.I. member organizations can be found on the pages of the member associations.
