The partners of the EMPACT project came together in Belgrade, Serbia at the end of October 2019 to begin in-depth work on certification in EU Aid Volunteers (EUAV).
Six Samaritan organisations from all over Europe conducted coordinated first aid awareness events and flash mobs on 26 September 2019.
From 15 to 18 August 2019 the Samaritan Forum 2019 took place in Mörbisch am See. The focus topic was rescue and civil protection. The event also included the 25th anniversary of Samaritan International.
Two capacity assessment workshops of the project EMPACT were held in June 2019, one in each of the two project regions.

From 24-26 January 2019, the FACET project held its first exchange workshop and kick-off in Cologne, Germany. German project partner ASB hosted the meeting at the facilities of its NRW branch.
On 17 October, SAMARITAN INTERNATIONAL organised a parliamentary evening in Brussels. EU commissioner Christos Stylianides held the closing remarks.
On the occasion of Restart-a-Heart-Day 2018, several SAM.I. member organisations sent trainers to Brussels to offer first aid courses in the European quarter.
Almost 200 people came together in Flensburg from 24-27 August 2018 for the 7th Samaritan Contest. 18 teams of young people from eight countries demonstrated their skills in first aid and got to know their counterparts from all over Europe.
