SAM.I will contribute to the Conference of the Future of Europe with a hybrid event on 16 October 2021. The member organisations of SAM.I. will discuss their post-Covid challenges.
The project First Aid, Civic Engagement, Training held a training and its last meeting from 16-20 August in Tetovo, North Macedonia.
From 26-27 July, the Erasmus+ project I_TEM came together in Tetovo, North Macedonia, for their first in-person meeting. The project works on updating guidelines on social affairs management in emergency temporary shelters.
The network had already expressed its support for such an instrument early in 2021.
At the beginning of April the project partners of TECS met in a virtual meeting to discuss the Corona situation in their respective countries and how to further proceed with the project.
On 23 April, SAM.I. officially finalised its new social policy strategy. The paper had been in development for several months with feedback opportunities for all member organisations.
The project First Aid, Civic Engagement, Training (FACET) has been running since 2019. It is supported by the Erasmus+ program.
The Samaritan Forum 2021 was planned to take place in Germany, hosted alongside ASB’s federal exercise.
The organisations represented in the consortium of EMPACT have successfully applied for certification in EU Aid Volunteers (EUAV) and for a follow-up deployment project.
The Samaritan Contest 2020 will take place from 30 July to 2 August 2020 in Bruneck, South Tyrol Italy. Registration is open until 31 May.
