The apps for iOS and Android phones have been adapted for the latest versions of these mobile systems. The content and pedagogical aspects also received improvements, most notably the inclusion of the usage of AED (automated external defibrillators) as part of CPR.

The first aid measures are described for three target groups: Adults, children and toddlers. The updated instructions are available in English, German and Italian. New 3D images and animations make the first aid measures even easier to follow.

The apps have been met with great interest by the general public, as evidenced by the download numbers of almost 700.000. The updated versions remain available completely free of charge in the app stores of the respective platforms.
