The project group of the I_TEM project met from 2-4 December. On the agenda was a review of what had been learned from the previous pilot training in Rome as well as the drafting of a curriculum for the second training of the project.

I am very happy to have joined the SAM.I. secretariat in Brussels on 1 December and I am hoping to meet many of you in person soon to introduce myself personally and get to know you.  My name is Anne Stuhlmann, I am originally from Hamburg but have been living and working in Brussels for the last 10 years.

The Erasmus+ project Digital First Aid Education (DIGIFIRSTAID) held its first in-person meeting in Riga from 30 September to 2 October 2022.

From 28-31 July 2022, youths from 9 SAM.I. organisations convened in Bruneck, Italy for the 8th Samaritan Contest.

ASB’s federal exercise usually draws several hundreds of volunteers from across Germany. This year, their European colleagues may join.

After the Covid-19 pandemic caused a postponement of the biennial youth competition, the Samaritan Contest will take place again this year.

From 17 to 19 January Samaritan International (SAM.I) organised its 4th project meeting of the Erasmus+ project TECS (Training and Further Education in Care and Social Services) in Poland.

On 15 October 2021, the SAMARITAN INTERNATIONAL general assembly, the Advisory Committee, came together in Brussels to elect the presidium.

SAM.I will contribute to the Conference of the Future of Europe with a hybrid event on 16 October 2021. The member organisations of SAM.I. will discuss their post-Covid challenges.

The EU Aid Volunteers (EUAV) project EMPACT held its concluding workshop on 23 March. EMPACT prepared five prospective hosting organisations to work in the EUAV program.
